Telefèric has been our favorite new restaurant in Long Beach however this past Saturday night we had the worst experience. Our waitress was great however, the bus and runner service was horrendous. The runner would drop the tapas as if he was tossing a ball on a table. He handed a gazpacho bowl to my friends wife and she didn’t have an opportunity to put the bowl on the table while he attempted to pour the soup. Another bus man clearing plates and moving so quickly that he dropped a couple of plates, one of which spilled sauce on one of my guests new jacket. The restaurant was clear as to what was happening and gave us free dessert. Nice gesture however that does not take away from the embarrassment with our guests and the bad experience.

While we’re glad to know that your waitress was attentive, we deeply regret that the service from the bus and runner staff didn’t meet expectations. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, and we sincerely apologize for the issues with the tapas delivery, as well as the unfortunate incident with the spilled sauce. We appreciate your understanding in accepting the dessert, but we know it doesn’t make up for the experience. Went to Teleferic on a Friday evening for GNO. Our server, Biel, was the sweetest. He was attentive, made wonderful menu recs and offered to take a good photo for us at the end of the night. Perfect spot to take out of town guests for an intimate catch up session over delicious food (we had a corner table). Mojito oysters and pork paella were the highlight dishes of the night!

Overall it was good, but definitely room for improvement. A few times, we were served food we didn’t order and one of our orders took forever (it was probably served to another table). The churro I would never order again. I’ve been to Spain a few times and that’s not how it’s served. It was hard and the Nutella inside seemed sacrilegious. I get that it’s a “spin” since it’s here in America, but I would not recommend it. The restaurant was so loud it made it hard to converse. It would’ve also been nice to hear Spanish music instead of hip hop/club music.

Very easy to make reservations via opentable app. It wasn’t crowded on a Wednesday afternoon, service was fast and efficient. Music wasn’t loud, my friends and I were able to yap. Food was excellent. This is my second time here and I knew they offer the off-menu Tomahawk Paella so I knew what to order and it did not disappoint . They will tell you it is good for 4 people but it was good for 6! We had 3 tapas, the Tomahawk plus dessert and coffee. We had so much paella left because there were only 4 of us. Hostess Mariate made sure we felt taken cared of 🤓

We dine out frequently at fine places so have high expectations. Also many of our friends had given us glowing reports so we had to go and experience for ourselves. Teleferic exceeded all our expectations. Imaginative dishes served promptly by knowledgeable and caring staff. Drinks were well crafted especially their own take on Sangria. We highly recommend and will return soon.

Most of the dishes were very tasty (not the octopus), but some were presented in small containers with large spoons which made extraction very difficult, and messy. Some orders came incorrectly. Service was not as attentive as I was expecting.
