Now, our passionate teams in Walnut Creek, Palo Alto, Los Angeles and Los Gatos have grown to include some of the world’s most creative and innovative chefs and mixologists, and we are eager to share our culture and gastronomy with you. The food was excellent and the service was good. The biggest downside was the noise level. We specifically asked for a room in the back and were accommodated. The host then also seated a family with a baby next to us. Having an infant out at night past 7pm was not smart by that family but why seat them next to us. The main dining room is extremely loud making it a shouting match between tables. Very bad acoustically designed restaurant!

The novelty of tapas has worn a bit thin at this Los Gatos Teleferic. We were a party of 4 with everyone ordering mostly for themselves. The dishes were brought in a hodgepoge as if we were sharing everything. So 1 person got something they ordered and the rest of us sat and watched them eat. The food itself was mediocre - the empanadas were barely filled with the chicken mixture - mostly empty and a bit over done. Potatas bravas was buried in sauces and subsequently soggy when they should be crispy. My mini sushi tacos were delicious and my partner's octopus was perfect but overall the 4 of us spent $170 for lunch - and that's with no alcohol - with a built in $25 tip and it was pretty unsatisfying.

Many of the tapas dishes have an aioli sauce. Even the meatballs had a drizzle of cream on them. All unnecessary if the dish can stand on its own. The chef should trust that the flavors will carry on. I ordered two glasses of wine. The wine was from the more expensive wine list and the pour was half of what was at the table next to me. The wait staff was very good. They don't leave you wanting for anything for long. We all appreciated that. As is the case in most restaurants, when you are asked, "How is your meal?" it is a rhetorical question.
