    The establishment is cavernous and noisy to say the least. If your table for two is adjacent to a large groups table, it will be extremely noisy. The service was good and consistent. The food, tapas and a dinner item and wine shared were fair. Two food items were very good the balance mediocre. When the final bill comes you will be amazed. In addition to the food and wine charges you will face an automatic 20% service charge which is apparently shared among all staff at the restaurant. The waiter was kind enough to point this out and the service bill had an open space for the customer to write in an additional amount of gratuity for the waiter only. Add to this the hefty California tax and you have a rather hefty sum for "service and tax" to your bill. This may well run over $70 plus dollars to your final bill. This seems very excessive to me in conjunction with the total cost of your bill. My billing was modest I think at some $185 dollars for a party of two. Go figure, and good luck and welcome to the new world of dining out in California.

    Food is good but very expensive for what it is. they add 20% to the bill and then want you to tip above that. There is a really lame disclaimer on the menu saying it’s so the can pay their employees more…or some nonsense, trying to mask that they just want to charge you more but cannot add it to the already very inflated prices on the menu. I am not a fan of that kind of approach. Service was very slow but very friendly. However, when you leave hungry you can stop at the pizza place on the bottom floor and grab a slice.

    We were very excited to try this place, but the food was very underwhelming. We had the lobster paella and for the price, we thought it would be an amazing dish. The rice was overcooked and it lacked flavoring. We did mention this to our server and nothing was really done about it. The ambiance was nice and laid back, but again, we came for the food and just did not meet our expectations.

We’d like to clarify that traditional paella is made with "socarrat," a crispy layer of rice at the bottom, which can sometimes appear darker. This is a characteristic of authentic Spanish paella, and we include it in our menu description. While we’re happy to hear you enjoyed the ambiance, we regret that the food and service didn’t meet the high standards we aim for. We also appreciate that you brought this to the attention of our server, and we sincerely apologize that your concerns were not addressed to your satisfaction.     A little overpriced for what it is. I’d love warmer and more personalized service for a $150 dinner for two. This place feels a bit corporate to me…

    I had the pleasure of dining at Teleferic Barcelona recently, and as always the service was attentive, friendly, and the staff were consistently on point with great recommendations. We enjoyed several tapas and drinks, each one absolutely delicious. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

    Perfecto! We were greeted promptly and kindly. We were 30 minutes early for our reservation but were seating right away. The octopus-Pulpo Telefèric and potatoes-Patatas Bravas were the stand out dishes of the evening. Probably the best of both I had ever had. Can't wait to go back!
