Food tasted greaf but service was not. We had a large party and the server did not come check on us very often for water refills etc. We ordered off the "happy hour" section for food and drinks but they still charged us full price and said big parties do not count for happy hour. They did not tell us this and it didn't say it on the menu so not sure how customers will know that.

I was so disappointed and regret not having left the restaurant last night before being seated. For the record, I’ve come to this Tempo Cantina severa times, specifically a few years ago. I always thought their food was great and the atmosphere and music to be a little loud but fun. I took my girlfriend on a date there last night and felt so overdressed (in business casual clothing) sitting next to people dressed in Walmart gear with crusty wrinkled t-shirts, flip flops with white socks, etc. The music was also pretty bad. I was expecting they’d be playing reggaetón or something remotely popular and instead were playing music from 2010 (Kesha, black eyed peas, etc) and at a barely audible volume. The food was also terrible. The tacos were greasy and soggy. The nachos fries were also soggy and resembled cafeteria food more so than restaurant grade food. The cocktail I ordered was also very mid. The customer service was fine but it didn’t soften the blow of this overall sad experience.

This is our first time being in La and this was the closest Mexican cuisine near our stay. When we got there we were greeted well by a nice gentleman then when being seated I noticed our booth was dirty. The seat had crumbs on it. Which means they did not clean it prior. Then a lady proceeded to take us to a different table and before we sat down she threw the menus on the table. We left! I’m not putting up with such poor customer service sorry! Do better

Overall just ok- our service was not great- our server didn’t seem very friendly or interested in being there! Kinda dampened the experience! Also didn’t like they had a photographer come by who insisted we take several pictures so they could come back and try to sell us for $20 each picture! Yuck! Really not a good look

Usually tempo is great, not sure what changed. Our server Diego was great. But the host and who I assume was the manager was quite rude to us. We were sat almost an hour after our reservation time and barely received an apology for the inconvenience. Not going back.

I frequently visit the Downey location, but had not been to Brea. I found the same wonderful service delicious food and warm welcome.

It took 30 minutes for a server to come and take our order. The food was semi warm, the food value has just gone bad
