Normally we have drinks and appetizers on the main floor - but decided to try the rooftop for a change of pace. Great views and excellent service.

The biggest restaurant in San Miguel de Allende. Today I met 7 friends at Tené Restaurante and bar and at least 4 got ripped off. We set the time to meet for 3:00pm. They have a “special price” menu for the bar during 2pm till 10pm. I arrived approximately 2:45pm to save. our table ordered a mezcalita. I also ordered 3 food items from their bar food menu. I’m not complaining about the price of the bar food although you literally only get a very very small portion. When I received my bill it was almost $800 pesos. The waitress told my friend the mezalitas were $99 pesos. I was charged $280 pesos for one mezcalita and $140 approx for another I ordered. When I asked why they said the special price did not start until 2:00 but I arrived after that time at around 2:45. They wouldn’t budge on that at all. I know I wasn’t there before 2:00 I was at home at 2:00. I had also read another post on Facebook about this restaurant ripping people off by charging 50% tip when they were told to add 15% tip. I would not recommend this restaurant at all because they rip people off even when you complain to the manager. Beware people!

Reserva por open table. No la tenían considerada por tener “muchos huéspedes del hotel.” De todos modos nos recibieron. Servicio lento por falta de personal. Lugar lindo. Comida buena. El sandwich de brisket estaba espectacular !!!

El lugar muy agradable. La comida muy buena y con gran sabor. En servicio son muy atentos y amables. Hubo 2 inconvenientes con la comida pero nos ayudaron a resolverlo rápido. Hay que hacer reservación.

Ceviche was sweet with no acid - not a ceviche. Pulpo was slimy and rice bland. Appetizers and main dishes arrived together. Unprofessional

The Christmas dinner was spectacular. The first course soup was the one of the best things I have ever had. Service was phenomenal and friendly. Highly recommend.
