A culinary collaboration between Tequila Comida & Cantina and Marina Grill, infusing the vibrant flavors of Mexico into the heart of Wilmington’s waterfront. Established in 2018 by Chef Ramon Villasenor and Miguel Villasenor, Tequila Comida & Cantina has teamed up with Marina Grill to create an exceptional dining experience.

Nestled beside the Riverfront Park and boasting an extraordinary view of the Riverfront Marina, Tequila’s Waterfront offers a unique setting. Our spacious outdoor area is the perfect spot to enjoy live music during the summer months.     Great place for a casual dinner. It’s not easy to find good Mexican food in the South (especially when you’ve from the southwest). We were pleasantly surprised by both the food and the service.

    After a long day of walking around me and my friend needed a quick meal. We decided on Tequilas Waterfront and we are so happy with our decision. Service is great, food is amazing and staff is friendly.

    Second time coming in! If anyone reading this hasn’t tried their frozen strawberry mezcal you definitely should. You can tell the bartenders care about your experience

    Loved our server, wanted to give a shout out to her because it looked like she was the only one on but did a great job. We got everything we needed, especially the spicy salsa, so good.

    Our party of 9 enjoyed the delicious meals and fun atmosphere of Tequilas Waterfront. Appreciated having restaurant parking available. We look forward to dining here again the next time we are in the area.

    The service was really poor. We were the only ones in there and he was very inattentive. He completely botched the checks and we were so over it we just paid and left.

    Tequilas Waterfront is by far the best Mexican restaurant in Wilmington! Service was phenomenal and attentive. Kaleigh made sure we had everything we needed. Drinks were amazing and food was delicious.

    Tequilas Waterfront is such a lovely place to visit while being downtown. The food is authentic and fresh while the drinks are refreshing and fruity. Hightop recommend Tequilas Waterfront!
