For nearly 40 years, Texas Cattle Company, a family owned and operated restaurant, has been a local favorite serving only select U.S.D.A. Choice and Prime, three-year-old grain-fed beef. Texas Cattle Company steers clear of fancy cooking methods, flame-broiling our steaks on a custom built pit over a natural wood-burning fire made from Florida orange-wood and oak. Our managers cut & season our steaks daily to guarantee the absolute best tasting steaks anywhere! We also shop for the freshest local seafood and produce available to ensure that you will have an amazing dining experience. We pride ourselves in having the best service and creating a family atmosphere.     We drive from New Port Richey to eat here because you just can’t beat the quality of the food for the price. Texas Cattle knows how to cook a beautiful steak! The sides are included with your meal and the cheese bread is so good! We love the food and our service tonight from Tristan and Madison was top notch. Thank you Madison for the wine recommendation, the red blend was perfect with my filet. Our steaks were cooked perfectly to our order and were absolutely delicious. Thank you for a great meal start to finish!

    Cannon was terrific taking care of us for our 25 th wedding anniversary dinner. Steak and salmon were perfect. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

    The restaurant was ok overall. However, it was not great either. The appetizers were good, and the food was served in a timely way. However, the service was just average and our steaks were very tough. They were cooked to the correct temperature, but just tough and overpriced for the quality. The sides were not very good either. The mushrooms were almost raw and the mashed potatoes were bland. They also had very limited selections over everything from beverages to sides, sauces, and accompaniments. It’s not quite as good as I remember from a few years ago when we used to go there frequently.
