This Mother’s Day weekend, The Acorn invites you to gather with loved ones and celebrate the people who nurture, uplift, and care for us — whoever “mom” is in your life. on Saturday, May 10th AND Sunday May 11th we’re offering a special multi-course brunch inspired by the bounty of spring. Our award-winning kitchen team has created a vibrant, seasonal menu that showcases the very best in local and sustainable ingredients. Each reservation includes a lovingly crafted welcome cocktail or zero-proof drink, and coffee or tea to accompany your meal. Whether you’re toasting mom, gathering with chosen family, or just carving out time with the people who matter, our Mother’s Day brunch is about good food, good company, and a moment to enjoy it all together. We’re also thrilled to offer a limited number of gorgeous, locally grown bouquets from our friends at Valley Buds Farms Flower Farm in Squamish, BC. All proceeds from bouquet sales will be donated to the SPCA. We had phenomenal time. Did the tasting menu and wine pairing. The food was unique and delicious. The wines were great. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Third time back at the Acorn doing the tasting menu and every time it’s been an absolute treat. I come up from Seattle specifically to eat here and it’s so worth the border crossing. The Acorn does such interesting and innovative things with vegetables and I love their commitment to foraging and minimal waste. The desserts are also incredible. I had a stone fruit cornmeal cake that I’m still talking about a year later and I think the rhubarb dessert I had last time was even better.

The acorn is always fabulous!! Came here for my mom’s bday and she loved it. Have to say I was blown away by the maple panna cotta. I usually don’t like panna cotta at all, but this one it up there to be one of my favourite desserts I’ve ever had it was so light and not overpowering. Lovely flavours yet again

Food is innovative. Service slow. Unfortunately a fellow diner was talking on FaceTime in the middle of the restaurant which made the evening bad.

Acorn is an amazing experience. Not for a second do you realize that the entire menu is vegetarian. The food is vibrant and delicious utilizing unique ingredients, many of them foraged by the chef. The cocktails are just as good and the wine selection thoughtful. The service is genuine and informative with no pretention. This is now one of our favorite Vancouver restaurants.

The variety of this brunch menu was excellent. There were so many different flavours on display. The endive in the salad was balanced well by the apple, and everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Portions were just right for the variety of dishes and everything was paced well. The servers who took care of us were excellent, and my compliments to the entire house and kitchen for doing such an amazing job taking care of everyone. I'm looking forward to the next fixed specialty menu.

Considering the marketing and the reviews and the Michelin rating and the price, I was very disappointed in the food - you'd think they would not rely so heavily on radishes and beets and daikon to create a vegetarian meal. The first offering of a small bowl of broth was delicious, but our anticipation of further delights was soon dampened with the arrival of thin slices of the above veggies in various compositions, all quite - meh. The final dish of pasta had lots of flavour, and having arrived hungry, we left not hungry, but those were the only other positive aspects of our food.
