The Ahwahnee Dining Room is currently serving both breakfast and dinner in buffet style service featuring many classic menu favorites including eggs benedict in the morning with a full selection of breakfast favorites. During dinner service we are serving many options including a carving station featuring our famous Prime Rib and more.     Cibo discreto, servizio pessimo. Prenotazione per le 13, ci siamo seduti alle 13:30, abbiamo ordinato due hamburger arrivati alle 14:15. Pessimo servizio e accoglienza

    The buffet was terrible. Food was cold and then they ran out and we had to wait 30 min before new food came - half the table was done before any additional food came for folks to get a first serving. In the end some folks didn’t even eat. Also, the waitstaff barely checked on us. Very disappointed given the cost.

    This is an iconic location and dining experience. The staff and our waiter Alec were excellent. They provided us with a beautiful table and did everything they could to make our dining experience memorable. As their kitchen is still under re-construction, the meal is a buffet. My wife and I are not buffet fans and found the selection of food average. The good news is their kitchen should be operational by late summer. I'd highly recommend dining here as it is a very unique experience. When they return to regular dining I'm sure the food will also return to first class.

    The buffet was very expensive and the food was cold. They were out of a lot of items as well at the buffet and didn’t restock. The service was really slow but the staff were very kind. I think they were just overwhelmed.

    I hoped the previous poor reviews were wrong but sadly not. Go for a drink at the bar or sit outside - it’s a beautiful setting. Check out the stunning dining room which opens at 5. Hang by the wood burning fire. But eat at the valley lodge mountain room if you care about your food.
