With beautiful surroundings, and a stylish interior, The Albany in Thames Ditton is a classic meets modern pub, a perfect setting for any occasion. Our chefs take pride in preparing fresh, delicious tasting food using the finest ingredients. Signature dishes include spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit, slow cooked pork belly with seared scallops, salmon supreme served with thyme-roasted butternut squash, and our home-made British beef burger. For a lighter bite, our spiralised carrot salad and Mediterranean mezze are both delectable, or for some sweet indulgence our melting golden chocolate bomb with caramel ice cream is sure to please!

We dined at the Albany for a late Sunday lunch, there were a good choice of chicken, beef, pork and lamb roasts for adults, plus a chicken & beef roasts for children. The food was nice, relatively well priced and the dining area had a nice feel. The service was not great, given that the dining area was only half full the staff did not seem to be able cope, we had to wait a while and make several attempts to get anyone's attention for all parts of meal; ordering drinks, mail meal, desserts, extra drinks & the bill. I recommend the Albany for a nice setting & decent food, hopefully the service will be better in the future.

It was Valentine’s Day, so they were slammed. The service was slow but admirable under the circumstances. The food was a dissapointment, if only because the venue and decor were very nice - more gastro than pub, and it’s situated right on the Thames. With a little more finesse on the food, this could be a really outstanding place.

We weren’t able to get a table outside on a really warm evening but the nice and comfortable internal structure worked out well. The waitress and host were both professional, welcoming and put us at ease. The food service was quite slow and was only apologised for afterwards (which was appreciated) rather than having our expectations set beforehand (which would have been preferred) Wagu burger was my absolute highlight

We were late - but the team delis everything to accommodate us, but thank you to the manager! Our waitress Rachel was lovely and super helpful - even when we went rogue on the coffee menu for a cortado! Thank you

Beetroot on the roast veg was raw, and portion of food was a bit mean for the price.

The food was lovely, and the atmosphere was wonderful suited the "gastro pub" name perfectly, given the atmosphere the food was well priced perhaps even cheap if it was closer to London. The service was very diligent however too much for my personal preference not as relaxed as I was hoping for given it was a lunchtime meal

A great value venue with tasty options on the fixed price menu. The staff were friendly, helpful and competent. However the crab rolls were disappointing with lots of bread and little filling.
