The Alden has an intimate setting which is perfect for a special night out or a culinary adventure. I was celebrating my best friend’s birthday and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making the entire experience feel personal and welcoming. I’m no food critic, but I can recognize fresh, high-quality ingredients, and Chef Jared and his team delivered that in every dish—10/10. Sitting at the counter was the highlight; it’s the best seat in the house. You get to watch the chefs in action, adding a layer of entertainment to the evening. Each course was perfectly timed, creating a seamless dining experience. The combinations of ingredients and pairings were nothing short of fantastic. Some dishes featured bold and unexpected flavors that worked together beautifully. The quail and scallops were my favorites—flawlessly executed and deeply satisfying. I also appreciated the global influences woven into the menu, which made each dish feel like a small journey. And let’s not overlook the fact that Chef Jared is as talented as he is handsome—a fun bonus to an already unforgettable meal. They gave us a birthday treat to top it all off. I can’t wait to go back to experience other dishes.

The food was excellent and service was spot on! The executive chef came out and talked to our table about the food, the service, and anything that would have made our experience even better. A hidden gem in the Chamblee area. Well worth eating there, and seems like an amazing venue for a romantic dinner!

Had the five courses tasting menu. Very tasty food and great presentation. But 2 desserts in 5 courses tasting menu I think is too much dessert. We feel like the last dessert was a waste. I rather have another light appetizer or soup. We would like to come back and try other dishes.

Always a great time. Chef Jared is a genius. We love coming here and enjoy their seasonal menu which is very well crafted.

As usual The Alden did not disappoint. The food was “outside the box” and delicious. Service was on point and accommodating. Truly the “crown jewel” for this neighborhood. We will be back .

Chef Hucks creates a symphony with each course. There’s a lot going on with flavors ranging from gently blackened snapper to the sautéed poblano peppers on which it sits to the black bean purée and salsa verde and crème fraiche sauce accompaniments. They all complement each other and sing on the palate. He also makes use of atypical ingredients such as celery root. The finale was a chocolate mousse which had been aerated then flash frozen in liquid nitrogen then dipped in molten dark chocolate. Amazing!
