The Amalfi Llama reimagines the culinary landscape by seamlessly merging the allure of a rustic live-fire steakhouse with the flavors of Italian cuisine, a culinary haven where genuine cooking, down-to-earth cuisine and stylish flair intertwine.                                       We had a great dining experience at The Amalfi Llama tonight. The crab cake appetizer was amazing and contained huge pieces of crab. The filet was delicious and so flavorful. The tiramisu was delicious and so light. Our server Valentyn was also excellent. He was so attentive and extremely thoughtful. He anticipated our every need through the evening. We will definitely be coming back in the near future for the food and for the service! Thank you for a very memorable evening! See you again soon!

                                      Special birthday was generously celebrated by greeting us with a crab cake though the various service team (managers, server) seemed awkward about what the occasion was (no 'happy birthday) and it was much a formula as a real 'heartfelt' performance. But it was nice for sure. The food was average at best: dinner caesar, too many details to go into, was a mess and didn't work out as an entree. Server got the specifics incorrect twice and the kitchen yikes. Side veggies were barely cooked. Steak was harshly seasoned. You get the idea. Dessert on the house was very nice gesture, though the cheesecake itself was rough. Disconnect between what the restaurant looks like and presumably strives to be and the disconnect between the lack of service coordination and food quality. Bar should be much higher.

                                      The restaurant was very, very busy - thus they are doing something right. I prefer a smaller, more intimate, quiet restaurant, thus probably will not return. Candidly I was disappointed they did not serve wine by the glass!

Our servers were very friendly and nice but seemed new or unexperienced, not much knowledge about their menu and also lacked some basic serving skills. We had a great experience but would have been nice if servers were better trained on serving etiquette.

                                      we shared crab cake, calamari, arugula prosciutto pizza and a salad. all was delicious. the bar tender outstanding. the ambiance is beautiful and we will be back!
