   We have been to the Arkle Manor several times for dinner, as well as sister pubs Derby Arms, Epsom Downs and the Blue Anchor, Tadworth. This visit we found the food to be very disappointing. My wife is vegetarian and likes the deep fried battered halloumi and chips. Even though this has not been on the evening menu for some time it has been offered to her when she has asked for it. This time it was not offered. Aside from the pizza, the only vegetarian option was a cauliflower tart. That was it, just a tart and nothing else. No vegetables. A rip off. I chose the Chicken Milanese. The tomato sauce (if there was some) on it was dry, as the meal was overcooked, and it was served with chips and brown gravy. No vegetables again, and an odd combination. My wife's starter (camembert) was smaller than usual as well, and not well presented. This experience will deter us from returning to the Arkle Manor. There are better options.

   Opentable doesnt work very well with restaurant booking systems, some didnt get the table we wanted. Staff were helpful though and food was nice.

   Great trio roast at good price point. Disappointing that the pub didn’t have our booking even though it was confirmed through OpenTable twice - apparently happens a lot there. Would have been a disaster if they couldn’t have squeezed us in as we had travelled an hour to get there. Best to book direct with the pub itself.

   Great place to eat. We had an issue with out OpenTable booking. Our booking was for 4 people but the Arkle Manor only had 2 down. Worth checking the booking directly with them.

   Staff were really friendly, food was lovely! The place is nice with a good atmosphere despite it being a Monday night!

   Went for lunch and enjoyed the food. Would go again but during the evening when there is a bit more atmosphere.

   The service was great. With a good selection of food and drink options. The food was delicious when it arrived and everything enjoyed it.

   Hadn't been to the Arkle in almost two years, having to host a get together in October with some old friends my wife and I decided to go to here to see if it's still as good as we remembered. We had a lovely evening, fantastic food, great service. Straight after our meal I booked a table for ten next month, can't wait to go back and start coming here more regularly again

    I met an old school friend for lunch and we had a lovely meal. We were not rushed in any way and the waitress was so polite. We'll be going back for sure.
