I made a reservation on open table for 6 on the deck only to discover, upon arrival, that the restaurant does not take reservations and will not sit a party of 6 on the deck. Luckily, I was able to speak to a manager who made everything work for us. I am very thankful. Good thing it wasn’t a busy time. Don’t make a reservation for this restaurant because they will not know about it.

Had reservations for 2 for 630 and we didn’t get a table until 730. We ordered right away and still didn’t get food for another hour. Food was good and you can’t beat the view if you sit outside. Unfortunately it just seems like the issues with service and management are the same that we experienced when it was Bayside. Tables were left with dirty dishes for 30+ minutes inside. Other people waiting also had reservations and had to wait a long time for their table. If you don’t want to take reservations that’s fine, but if you are going to offer it then you need to do a better job of planning to have tables open at the appropriate time. If we come back it will be during the day or non peak times.

although food was good and waitress nice, the service was poor and management was no where to be of assistance. our waitress had too many tables and no back up.

Terrible service. A bunch of teenagers at the front who have no idea what they are doing and even turning ppl away instead of offering the bar seats. The food is very bland except for the shrimp boil. The rest I couldn’t even eat. The drink I had was a mimosa and it was all juice. Just not a good experience and it was for Mothers Day so even more disappointed for my mom.

Everything about the restaurant was fine, except it took 40 minutes to get our order. NOT the servers fault. She stated they were short-handed in the kitchen. It was evident when other patrons experienced the same thing. Will return again though! Loved the crab leg boil!

Waiter really had poor education about the menu. Could not answer questions about the dishes. Expensive for a fish dish that was the size of a minnow.

Awful experience. The restaurant was not staffed properly, wait staff didn't clear dishes, it took 60 minutes to get food. When we asked for the manager, his response was essentially "really busy tonight, sorry". He blamed his staff, from the kitchen to the wait staff and took no responsibility for the experience. Great location, there is a reason that they continue to change the name of the place. Too bad...

We headed over to The Beach for our first time Sunday afternoon for dinner. We started with a wedge salad (excellent) and then did a mussel and a shrimp boil. It was excellent! We can't wait to go back again!
