   A Tuesday lunch time visit of 4 so not very busy. We all had a different main course, all were very good. My pea and asparagus gnocchi was excellent. Similarly 4 different deserts, all very good. The Almond sponge was particularly good. Service was good with just the right amount of attention. Value is always subjective but given the high standard of food I felt it was very good value.

   This dinner was amazing. Quantity and quality to a perfect balance. I had the duo of meats beef and pork and they were not stingy with the portions. Fast service, pleasant staff and nice cosy environment. Overall it's a 10 from me

   Very quiet on a Tuesday lunchtime so the place lacked its usual atmosphere. It was a birthday meal, which was mentioned when booking. Disappointed that nobody wished my husband a happy birthday. Lovely food as usual.

   Another great lunch at the Bell & Cross. Good sandwiches and chips - what else is required?! lol! Oh and good beer, with friendly service. All delivered thank you.

   Friday lunchtime. greeted, seated and drinks order taken without delay….great selection on the menus, I started with the beetroot with honey goats cheese my wife had four large tempura prawns both dishes completely devoured…. Main courses of salmon and the hake again could not fault full of flavour and perfectly cooked … shared the sponge pudding. Can’t fault anything not even the cost…..exceptional..
