Warm, welcoming, intimate and steps away from the Jackson Hole Town Square, The Bistro is the newest concept from restaurateurs Gavin Fine and Roger Freedman (Fine Dining Restaurant Group). Drawing on inspiration from Parisian style neighborhood brasseries, The Bistro presents modern, comfortable European dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner, all inside The Cloudveil hotel. The Bistro brings seasonal, beautifully prepared and presented dishes to life with outdoor cafe seating, a stunning zinc bar, fresh oyster bar and a variety of dynamic indoor dining areas.     We had reservations for Christmas Day brunch. We sat at the bar for ten minutes before the bartender finally turned around and asked if we wanted something. He was rude and unhelpful. We left without ordering. Cute place - would have liked to try it!

    We ate here Christmas’s eve. To start we were seated in the lobby:). Can’t make this up. Party of 7 beside a guy walking around in his bathrobe hanging open. To funny. Service was great, food was ok. No one loved their meal but no hated it. Overall they need to step it up.

    Very tasty French onion soup bread and escargot. My branzino was a skinny little filet and dried out. I think it’s best to stick with the beef tartare and mussels which I have had before and much better. My husband’s duck confit also small and dried out. On the plus side, no doggie bags. Dinner was rushed. We were seated and served and given the bill in one hour. We didn’t stay for dessert.

    While staying at the amazing Cloudveil hotel, my husband and I decided to try The Bistro. The service was attentive, the ambience charming, and the food & beverages top-notch. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to eat there again the following day so we could try some of their breakfast/lunch offerings. Delicious! As big fans of French cuisine, the experience satisfied our taste buds perfectly. I highly recommend!

    Celebrating a friend's 60th birthday at lunch. Our waitress was lovely; accommodating and thoughtful. Food is always good, service today was outstanding. Many thanks for helping elevate our celebration.

    The friday scallops entree is my favorite. A week ago I found that the scallops were smaller than usual, but this week they were the nice big fat size. However, your "noise rating" is deceptive. I gave it the top, which you call "energetic" and I call "way way too noisy". On top of that you put loud music on speaker. We will not be back for a while.

    Another great experience at the Bistro. We had almost given up after our last visit in the spring, but we were lured with the off season locals special. It was above and beyond from host to servers. We'll be back!
