   Good food but last night the service was disappointing: felt we were left waiting far far too long and had to ask repeatedly for drinks, bill, card machine… all felt a bit neglectful

   Drinks were flat, and we were told the pump had been changed but drinks still didn’t taste right. Mash was cold when it was delivered to the table.

   Usually great place, but today i have to say it had no atmosphere food very average veg like rocks meat wasn't tasty at all , its expensive too so you do expect more , also got glass of procecco and the was half full , not good probably won't eat there again , which is a shame as it usually is great and we been going for about 8 years now , also didn't like the fact menu was set either 2 or 3 courses and waitress needed to know at start what you wanted. We were celebrating our anniversary and was so dissopointed,

   Place is nicely decorated and it was reasonably quiet until a big party came in. Service was hit and miss to be honest. Food is very expensive for what it is and how much you get. We ate here a few years ago and it was better then.

   The steak & swing evening was lovely food in a fun entertaining atmosphere. The service was excellent as always from the whole team

   The meals were very good but the absence of a wine list is pretty unforgivable. We were given a choice of types of white wine available but weren’t advised of the price and ended up being charged £39 for a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. We would in future insist on seeing the price list before making a choice.

    Very pleasant country pub. Delicious homemade food & great menu choice. Very helpful, friendly staff & management.....Fabulous alround! Thank you, we will return :-)
