    If you are looking for exceptional service, an outstanding meal, beautiful dining environment and experience, The Blackwall Barn and Lodge in Gambrills is definitely the place! We were looking for a nice place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The way we were treated from the time we arrived until the time we left was phenomenal. This is quality dining!!!!

    We waited less than 4 minutes for our table our waitress was consistent my our concern is I couldn’t eat more Thank You BLG I’ll certainly return!

    Great dining experience, especially for a two-fer birthday celebration. Got the best table in the house. Service, food, and cocktails were excellent. Even the live musician played at a volume that allowed us to enjoy our conversation and his songs at the same time. Gorgeous place. We will definitely return.

    We arrived early, so we sat at the Patio bar, planning to move to our table later, but the bar was so cozy warm with the radiant heaters that even the bar top was warm, so we stayed there and had our dinner at the bar. We enjoy the value of happy hour and the half-price pastas on Wednesdays. The only issue was that they were experiencing trouble with the gift card reader, which was our intended form of payment. We will be back, but will verify in advance that that system is working.

    My Date and I enjoyed the ourselves both first timers Jacob is a great server he came to check on us after no one did for about 15 20 minutes and asked if we had been at our table and assured us he will be our server tonight he recommended a great dish for me and my date which were spot on. He updated us on the menu on what was out and solid choices in it's place I will definitely be back hopefully Jacob I is still there when I do he will make sure that you are OK also which was great. Recommendations Shrimp Scallop Risotto The Prime Rib Drinks were 👍🏾 👍🏾Great.

    The food was great, but it was so busy that you end up waiting hungry to get food when gaggles of people walk in at once. They were quick to replace food that ran out. Drinks were so-so but I think we just picked drinks that weren’t for us.

    I totally enjoyed the service from Megan. She was absolutely the best. Thank you, Megan, for knowing what it means to provide beyond outstanding service. You should be commended I remembered her from the previous time I dined there. She was so pleasant and attentive that it made us feel so comfortable. The food was delicious and each bite flavorful. From the omelet station to the salmon, shrimp & grits, fresh fruit, collard greens, home fries, carving station & there's more, all the food that I had made me want more. Let's not forget the live musicians added extra to the wonderful dining experience. I really appreciate the General Manager, Chris for accommodating me as I walk with a cane due to mobility issues...Thank you Chris. You didn't have to, but you did. I recommend you visit and enjoy the ambience, food and dining pleasure that is Blackwall Barn & Lodge.
