We had two waiters we started with Aaron (sp?) but was shared with someonelse who did all the work. Aaron left a lot to be desired he didn’t like where the hostess sat us, ignored us, and then when leaving snubbed us instead of saying bye. Overall not impressed for 1772 plus tip I expect better service. I got better service with 100 pesos dinner. Also we were celebrating a birthday and it was ignored even though marked on open table. But my friend got to see someone had a big hoopla and she was ignored. Apparently two dinners wanting drinks and food just isn’t good enough. The food and drinks are over priced but the view is amazing. Hostess sweet and our other waiter nice but paid attention to 4 tops over us.

First time at the Blue Shrimp and were impressed with the attention to detail. Our reservation was just as we asked and had a great view of the Bay. Sebastion (our server) did a wonderful job of explaining the menu options and making great suggestions for items only available seasonally. He admitted being new but we wouldn't have known unless he shared with us. The food was very good and prepared with care. Drinks were good too. Definitely would recommend this restaurant for great seafood. Only downside was the music was a bit louder than we would like but very tolerable.

We ordered our dinner plus a Caesar salad as an appetizer. Our dinner came at the same time as the waiter making our salad at table side. The timing should have been better. Our neighbors must have been there before. They ordered the Caesar salad and then when they finished that, they ordered their meal. I had the sea bass & my hubs had the coconut shrimp. Both were excellent. We made the reservation so we would be there at sunset & got a beautiful view over the ocean.

Beautiful view, fun beach decor and grass hut style roof for great beach vibe, right on the beach and perfect for enjoying the sunset. The ambience was great. The food was ok but not amazing and it was overpriced for what it was. So much better food around town for a fraction of the price. If the price of the food and drinks had been a little more reasonable then it would have been 5 stars. But with other nearby restaurants having great views, better food and better prices then it's moved down on our list. One hostess was sweet and welcoming whereas the other was quite rude and even bad mouthed us to the waiter since she couldn't find our reservation, it wasn't a friendly or welcoming start to the evening. We were quite shocked by her rudeness and attitude when we were nothing but nice. The (3) waiters made up for it by being upbeat, friendly and great throughout the evening.

As always, the service was outstanding. The servers know us (we've been here many times; at least once a week. Just a nice feeling to be welcomed. The food is super good; we've never had a bad meal in the dozens of times we have been.
