                              Meal came out still frozen in the middle. Not what I would expect from a restaurant serving $38 entrees. Christmas decorations are the only thing nice about this restaurant.

                              The Burleigh experience last night was basically ideal. Prelude is an annual festival in Kennebunk/Kennebunkport, and as a result the Burleogh was far more crowded than usual. It didn’t make a difference. The bartenders were funny, fast, and professional. After enjoying our drinks, our server found her way quickly to our table through the happy throng, and the food was excellent. The baked goat cheese is the best I’ve had, and the quality of the experience was wonderful.

                              We made reservations weeks ahead, to dine during the Christmas Prelude. Ambience is excellent, with the bar and dining room decked out in holiday decorations. Sat near the door, a little drafty with people coming in and out but it bother us too much. Food was delicious, however $3 for an extra 5 crackers is a little steep, and our Short rib croquettes were lacking short rib. Our drinks were delicious. Value is okay, but service and atmosphere made up for it!

                              Arrived early, sat at the bar for a delicious seasonal cocktail. Waitress was very attentive and checked in periodically to check that we were all set. The food was cooked great, both came out hot, wife had stuffed haddock and I had the steak frites. Decorations were nice for the season!

                              Great atmosphere for the holidays. Food was decent. Drinks were pricey. Live music left a little to be desired. The singer did her best and it was obvious she loved singing but was definitely lacking on the vocals. Burleigh needs to get some better talent.

                              Very cool holiday decor (the reason we went), great service, very good food. The “entertainment” was a nightmare. (We dined on 12/5). It was like a bad karaoke night. And loud. It pains me to write this but The Burleigh needs to hear the feedback…it really ruined the whole vibe of the night.
