The Butcher’s Daughter West Hollywood is a plant-forward restaurant, bar, juicery, and “vegetable slaughterhouse,” located in the heart of one of LA’s most iconic and vibrant neighborhoods. We treat fruits and vegetables with the same care a butcher would meat—chopping, filleting, and carving fresh produce into healthy vegetarian dishes, while pressing them into vibrant, refreshing juices.

Led by our Culinary Director Richard Rea, our seasonal menu is 100% vegetarian, with many vegan and gluten-free options, all crafted from in-season ingredients that nourish and delight. With an exceptional selection of wines, craft cocktails, and mocktails, we also offer take-out and delivery. Excellent service ambience and food choices. I enjoy coming to a place that the music is in the background and you can still sit and talk. The food is fresh and delicious and the coffee is superb.

Great food. Staff was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. It was a bit loud, but that can be attributed to the brunch rush. Overall amazing experience and I definitely plan to visit again.

I honestly love butcher’s daughter. I think it’s one of my favorite brunch spots in West Hollywood. They have such great options for gluten-free and vegan food. And I think it’s so funny that it’s named the butcher’s daughter even though it’s a vegetarian place I just realized that.

Server wasn’t great. We asked for lattts and none ever showed up. The bar procured their drinks and they were fine, but then our pasties also didn’t show up and the food was good, but our one carnivore friend hated Their burger that came out wrong. We were over charged on the bill and overall the whole thing was a B minus.

First time trying The Butcher's Daughter. Went with friends we hadn't seen in a while and it was the perfect spot as we could hear each other talk. We sat in a cozy corner and enjoyed the incredible plant based take on food. The mushroom calamari appetizer is not to be missed!! Incredible. We also shared a vegan and gluten free pepperoni pizza (to cover all dietary needs). Great vegan mozz and the dough was excellent, especially for gluten free. All got devoured. I had the Chunk "steak" on truffle mash. Wow!!! More of a brisket texture than a fillet, it's delicious! Two guests had the Pad Thai and loved. The fourth had a lettuce wrap beet burger with spicy chili sauce. Again, all was devoured. Too full for dessert. Hubby and I will be back often, it's that good and reasonable prices. We had a fab server. All around great place in the heart of Weho.

This restaurant is listed on several lists for good places to eat. It feels like it may have been good once, but it lacked a lot. The service was almost rude. No one that works there cares and you can feel it in the food and experience. Maybe it’s geared toward tourists? The pizza feels like frozen Trader Joe’s pizza that is undercooked. The service was really really lacking. People dropping food off without saying a word. Simply getting to the point of just getting it over with. I will never go back here.

Our server was rude and disrespectful. I had two guests and I gave my card to our waitress to pay the bill for the table and she tried my card once and she said it’s not working whereas my card was good and then he she simply accepted my friend’s Card despite my serious request not to accept. I asked to try my card again and I offered different card but she ignored and looked the other direction. Fortunately Lilly who is an amazing person came to save me and refunded my friend and charged my card again as per my wish. The rude waitress should not work there.
