Had a wonderful meal here. Our elote and cheddar sausage apps, long rib and lobster mac entrees, brussels and garlic rolls sides, and strawberry cheesecake dessert, all shared family-style, were perfectly prepared and delightfully delicious. Our waiter/bartender, Charlie, enhanced our experience with his quick wit, warm personality, knowledgeable recommendations, and skilled service.

Perfect restaurant to end a great night on. The food was delicious and the service was spectacular. I would highly recommend making reservations and going here for a date night, or just to eat yummy food. Me and my boyfriend had such a wonderful time here. Not only were we seated right away, but our server was wonderful as she helped us with recommendations on the menu. Definitely would come back again next time.

We love going to the Butchers Tale. Every time we go, we have an excellent meal and the servers are all very friendly. We also like the ambience and the valet parking. We highly recommend it!

Great food and fun cocktails. Tables are a little close together and it can get noisy. But tons of fun, delicious and great people watching.

Wonderful experience and will definitely be back! Started with sticky ribs to share (except me, not GF), I had a wedge salad - both were amazing. Best wedge I’ve had& ribs fell off the bone good. Had filets and salmon with mashed potatoes and broccolini sides. Steaks were best we’ve had (better than Manny’s or Murray’s IMO), salmon was a bit chewy & miso flavor was “interesting” with salmon. Not my daughter’s favorite but still good. Service was great & as many have mentioned it is not quiet. Hard to hear sometimes. Casual dining with great food. Came home smelling like I was at a campfire though.

Great food. Our server clearly detailed her cocktail suggestions to help us decide. When discussing the menu, she went over a variety of options with starters, entrees and sides. Detailed descriptions of the dishes. Atmosphere is excellent and the open kitchen concept makes it enjoyable to dine there. We were also brought a special anniversary treat. 10/10

The octopus appetizer and the steaks were extraordinary, as was Mitch, our server. We would highly recommend this place.

An overall excellent dining experience. Food and service were absolutely perfect, and the prices were not out of control like the other Minneapolis "M" steakhouses. The only negatives were that the tables were too small for the plates being used and the tables were too close together. The wait staff and bussers bumped into us and our table several times. We will definitely be back next time we are in Minnesota.

Our server was very good, helpful and friendly. Our food was good—the grilled oysters and calamari were both good although not great. The Chilean sea bass and Scallops for entrees were also good but not exceptional. It was a solid 4 stars.
