I had put in a reservation request, explaining we were coming to watch the oilers game. We were put on the side of the restaurant where the Toronto game was playing. They did change a couple of the TVs so we could watch the game but this honestly was the reason we came to Canadian Brewhouse so I’m a little soured by this. Tables and chairs are very close together. My chair was kicked for much of our stay, by a young boy. I can’t blame the kid for the lack of space. Food was okay. Our server was lovely. The pool table was a hit for us. Would have played more but the atm machine was not in service and we ran out of coins.

They were out of 10” and 12” pizzas - couldn’t get out free garlic fingers because of that. They were also out of the power bowls and Montreal smoked meat. And charging for pop refills is crazy. The food we could order tasted good, and decent specials.

We had dinner here with our 4 kids, don’t usually get out to often as prices as expensive and it was a Christmas treat for us all. They were fairly busy but getting drink refills took a very long time as the night went along. Our daughter ordered the poke bowl and after we got home about 4 hours later she got sick and was down and out for the night because of the tuna. No one else got sick which we were thankful for but the tuna was not prepared right. We were thankful for the night out and we usually love going to the brewhouse because they take the minors until 9 at night and my wife being gluten free they have a lot of options. This is an experience that will not have us coming back any time soon.

We had an absolutely fantastic Christmas dinner at The Canadian Brewhouse Banff! From start to finish, it was a memorable experience. Our waiter (1 of 2 Canadians working tonight) was prompt, attentive, and full of energy, making us feel welcome and cared for throughout the meal. The Christmas Prime Rib Dinner was nothing short of perfection—tender, flavorful, and beautifully cooked. The kids were thrilled with their choices too, happily devouring crispy chicken fingers, perfectly seasoned wings, and addictively tasty cactus cuts. To top it off, the desserts were a delightful surprise—light yet bursting with flavor, the perfect sweet ending to a great meal. If you’re looking for a warm, family-friendly atmosphere with incredible food and service, this is the place to be!

Dinner was perfect and they were very accommodating as I had my 4 kids with me . Food came out fast and hot, they brought the kids food first which I was happy about .

I have been to the Banff brewhouse many times. For some reason this time around the service was less than stellar. The server was ok but literally had flies buzzing around his head. The coffee and water glasses provided were dirty. We asked for 1/2 the amount cheese on our 4 cheese omelette (less cheese than normal) and received the order with the cheese only covering 1/2 the omelette. This visit was a fail. One day we will try the Banff Brewhouse again.

we quickly chose this place to eat because we were hungry and the weather was getting bad. We had a younger server who was busy so definitely not his fault our experience was a little on the slower side. Our food was okay, we had a burger, Cesar salad, and fried pickles. It took a bit to get our food and drinks, overall our experience was good and the food was your typical bar food, but filled us up.

The burger and chicken wings were very good. Unfortunately everything (starters/mains) came together which is not what we wanted. However this was fixed eventually which was great.

The manager at this location was completely inappropriate and has zero understanding of customer service and how to positively interact with patrons. The service was good, food was as expected. My concern is how the manager deals with customer concerns/feedback and lack of communication with hostess and management. We reserved a table game 6 of the Stanley cup final. The place was packed and many people trying to find a table last minute. We had four of us eating, drinking, and watching the game, during the second period 2 of the 4 in our party left for an appointment and then coming back to join us in about an hour or so. 3 hostess on 4 separate occasions within about 45min asked if they could seat 2 complete strangers at our little bar table, to which we said no politely, explaining that we reserved the table and 2 of our group were coming back. The 4th time the hostess asked (for the second time and 30 seconds after the other hostess asked) and she was extremely rude when we said no and asked if they could stop asking already. We texted the other 2 in our group and told them not to bother coming back as we were livid by this point. When we left (after paying the bill) we asked for the manager Kieran to provide feedback and explain the situation and let him know this is not acceptable asking us 4 times and being rude about it. He blew off our concern and told us that this is what they do, and didn’t care if we were disappointed. “This is their policy.” I suggested that he would be better off at least lying to us and simply say I’m sorry and we will try to do better, to which he said “sorry but this is our policy”. If management doesn’t care about the customer experience and basic customer service and communication how can his team expect to have a reasonable level of expectation and understanding. Will never eat at this location again. I frequent Banff often, for both personal and business. There are much better options in Banff.
