Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     Excellent meal as always. Steaks were cooked perfectly. The sea bass was delicious. One of our party members noted that the chicken breast was the most tender she’d ever had. Highly recommend starting your meal with the lobster bisque.

    Possibly the best steakhouse in the western suburbs. There are so many choices in the area, but this is a staple of elegance and superb service! A complete standout. My girlfriend and I took out her Mom and Dad (he's a retired restaurant guy, gentleman there, knows him from way back)... Everything was top-notch. (I just understand the way the front end staff chooses to seat patrons) Saturday night. We were dressed for dinner. Suits and my GF and her Mom looked elegant, yet they tried... to seat us in a corner of some offside room and then right in front of the kitchen prep?? All that aside. Dinner was excellent. Our server, Matthew, and the individuals assisting him made for a really great evening! Steaks and Veal Chop. Sides were great, and asparagus was perfection. Dessert was out of bound! The Berries and Creme' Anglaise was the table favorite. The Brulee Cheesecake was light and sublime. It was better than the last time, and even better than the time before, and the previous experiences were great! Just go!

    Great steak a bone in filet that was cooked to perfection. The lobster crab cake was absolutely the best crab cake I’ve ever had.

    Our first visit to The Capital Grille was very enjoyable. Our party of six included the celebration of a 50th Wedding Anniversary! Our Cocktails, Appetizers, Soups, and Salads, along with a wide variety of Main Entrees were thoroughly enjoyed. Head Waiter Marco, and his staff, were very attentive. We were allowed to enjoy our visit at our own leisurely pace. Marco arranged for a special dessert in honor of the celebrating couple. Thanks Capital Grille!

    Another perfectly prepared meal at Capital Grille. Service was top notch as always. In our experience, you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. It’s on the more expensive side of area restaurants but worth it.

    We reserved a table for our anniversary and when we were seated, there was a card showing “Happy Anniversary”; what a beautiful welcome! Our server, Davis, came by, introduced himself, and offered us a complimentary flute of sparkling wine, which we accepted. We ended up ordering a bottle of the sparkling wine with dinner it was that good. We started with splitting a sautéed calamari app since my wife has a gluten allergy; it was a bit hot but very tasty. She had the beet salad next and I had the Caesar salad, both on pointe. Our entrees were the chef’s sliced tenderloin with cippolinni onions and mushrooms and the tomahawk veal chop with mushrooms and demi-glacé. Both were off-the-hook and actually too much for us to finish so we asked to have our leftovers wrapped. After our entrees, Davis brought a complimentary dessert plate with a flourless chocolate mini cake and a mini cheesecake with “Happy Anniversary” stenciled in chocolate. What a finishing touch! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit; the atmosphere and cuisine was outstanding! Davis made our evening very memorable and we even had a visit from the manager on duty to wish us anniversary greetings!
