Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     We decided to start a new tradition over thanksgiving and went in search of a restaurants that might be open on thanksgiving day. To our great delight found out that Capital Grille was open. The ambience was GREAT, cozy feels with great food aromas and plenty of space for all. The hostess team were all lovely and our waitress Larissa was on point with everything . I cant compliment the food enough, although our lobster bisque was more on the creamy side, it still tasted amazing. Highly recommend any day, but especially for a day like Thanksgiving No cooking needed No clean up needed after The perfect night

    You can't go wrong here. Excellent food and excellent service. We went for Thanksgiving and it was amazing.

    For nearly a $300.00 couple's Thanksgiving dinner, it was very good but NOT perfect. The turkey breast meat was cooked properly but was lukewarm. The lacking gravy had it scantilly clad. The mashed potatoes stuck like "glue", but quite tasteful like Yukon mashed potatoes made. The smaller Cranberry Orange side, was the "star of the show". String green beans were tender. The finale Pumpkin Basque like creamy cheesecake was ooh la la! My spouse had the 10 oz. filet mignon prepared as asked. Medium well and very tender. She ordered asparagus (read: out of season, but acceptable tasting). The cocktails we just fine as they should be for 16 buck-a-roos a pop. As was the Napa wine glasses for almost a " second mortgage payment". Looking back, we probably would definitely go back to Capital Grille but we'd rather skip the holiday hoopla restaurant staff stress and overload. I wanted to tip even more, but given we were being ignored (as a couple) compared to the bigger surrounding numbered parties, I couldn't oblige our chief server.

    It was a perfect evening. We were celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary with my husband’s mother. The waitress was very good. The drinks, food and desserts were superb. The entire staff was so pleasant and friendly. We drive from Cleveland, Ohio to spend our anniversary together as a family at the Capital Grille every year.

    Superb experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The server was friendly and professional. My filet was cooked perfectly, as was my wife’s salmon. And the signature cheesecake was delicious. I will look for excuses to come back to Milwaukee to visit this location again:)
