Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. First, the waiter (Danny) and his assistant (don’t recall his name) were great. Both attentive and super friendly. Unfortunately, between the wait staff and the truffle fries, those were the only positives. We were sat 15min late against our 6:30 reservation (wasn’t even that crowded). It took 25 minutes to get drinks and about 15 minutes to get bread. Dinner took another 45 minutes. The food was fine. Not great, not bad. The truffle fries were an exception. Then, we ordered desert and 2 coffees. The coffee didn’t come until we were done with the dessert. The restaurant did comp those, but clearly the reason we were sat late is that their food staff is underwhelming or understaffed. We were excited to try something new, but likely won’t be back. Given the cost, I’d expect way more. Thanks Danny for trying!

Elegant atmosphere. Food is outstanding. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Pricey, but if that is not a problem, well worth it.

No longer need to go to Center City to get a great steak and eat in a beautiful, classy restaurant. The food and service were superb. Fantastic cocktails. Great menu with a wide selection of appetizers and salads as well as entrees. Loved the wedge and the steak was prepared perfectly. Save room for dessert - highly recommend the coconut custard pie.

My wife and I had Christmas Eve dinner. While it was noisy because it was crowded, it was festive and a wonderful holiday experience. The food and service were excellent. They restaurant ran out of rolls and was baking more. They told us and we waited patiently. As we finished our drinks, hot rolls appeared at our table, freshly baked and delicious. This is our second time dining at the restaurant and they did not disappoint. My wife and I will definitely be back.

We were seated in a booth in the bar area—low noise level, excellent service-shout out to Joy! Food was fabulous and gluten free menu available. Expensive but worth it

Great expierence. The seafood platter was great. We also got the bone in ribeye and the sea bass

Excellent experience. Our waitress Alicia was attentive and took great care of us in spite of the busy restaurant. Food was exceptional and prepared exactly as we ordered. We had a Great time

For special occasions, or just when you want to treat yourself to some luxury, the Capital Grille - Newtown is an excellent choice. The food, service and ambience all make a diner feel special. Every course we had was superb and the staff was super attentive. Dining here requires a bit of an investment but it is worth it. We will definitely return in the future.

Uh mazing experience . Start to finish . Steak dinners were perfection . Drinks were yummy . Service top notch . Can’t say enough ! Anniversary surprise @end if dinner unexpected. So great !
