   We went for the burger / wine dinner. It was good and a fun, different, thing to do. Food was good and service was good.

   Fantastic meal! The service we got was by far the best service I have ever had at a restaurant! Angie was absolutely fabulous! Food was delicious and it was a fun night!

   We love Capital Grill. We go there during special events or holidays. The service and food is usually exceptional and the value justifies that. Last night's iteration was not a Capital Grill type of night. Our reservation was for 7:30 and we arrived at 7:25 to a massively overflowing parking lot. We were greeted kindly when we entered we were also greeted to a cramped waiting area with many other individuals were waiting to be seated. We stood around well past our reservation time before we were taken to our seats. Saturdays can be busy but this was a lot more than we're used to, but it happens. We were sat and waited for some for our server to come around to give us water and ask for drinks. We had a salad each with a filet. When we received our salads and finished them we waited an additional 45 minutes waiting for our filets to come to the table. In the meantime we watched others get their meals while we munched on the bread left on the table. Not once did the server come by to let us know an estimated time we'd have our main course. Our mains arrived and the sides we also ordered were cold. At this point we don't like to bring out a fuss because it was a little past 9pm. We ate our meal had our dessert and left.

   I know that different places have different chefs but the food is seasoned and prepared much better at the Lombard location..

   Veronica was our server! She was amazing very professional and the service was great she went above and beyond to give us the best dining experience!! Thank you Capital Grille and Veronica for an awesome night!! Food was amazing as always one of our favorite restaurants!!

    Our dinner was amazing. Luis took great care of us, making recommendations to all of us (including our boys) and making it a great evening all around. It was an experience that helped teach our boys what a "big night out" is like.
