Dagli editor di OpenTable: This Tex-Italian stunner was the original restaurant within the Duro Hospitality group, with sibling spots Mister Charles and El Carlos Elegante going on to make it into the MICHELIN Guide. But first, The Charles set the tone with leopard-spotted banquettes, zebra-striped chairs, golden bauble light fixtures, and other epic design details. Many come here for special occasions, to feast on pillowy lemon ricotta gnudi and octopus charred on the woodfire grill. If the evening calls for a glass of Champagne, start next door at the equally swanky Bar Charles before dinner at The Charles.

Over the top incredible! I made a comment that I liked the ice cubes that were so clear in my old fashion and they gave me four of them to take home! Insane! Highly recommend.

I really miss the bucatini. But I’ve been to the Charles for every big milestone in my dallas life, I would never go anywhere else. Period. Ever.

My boyfriend and I went here for Valentine’s day! This place is a 10/10 the customer service was excellent. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming upon arrival, we had drinks at the bar while we waited for our table ( 10-15 min due to holiday, which we didn’t mind) . The ambiance was amazing, the food was even better!! Travis was our server and he was great and very helpful about the menu. We went with the crowd favorite “Spicy Creste Di Gallo”. Its was sooo good, not too spicy, we demolished our plates. This is what I look for when I pick a restaurant and it was a perfect choice, we will be back!!

Great experience. My fiance and I attended for her birthday and we were greeted at the door with a "Happy birthday". We were slightly early for our reservation and it was busy, so our table wasn't quite ready but we were allowed to hang out in the secret bar with delicious cocktails while we waited. Once our table was ready we were escorted to our table. Charles was our server and he was excellent! The food was top notch as well but the overall experience is what we will remember most about our evening.

One of the best places to dine and have a birthday dinner is here at The Charles!! From the time we entered valet with Oscar to the bartender Antonio to Jonathan checking in our coats all the way to Travis taking our order we were very pleased with the everything Charles had to offer. The management (Asian guy sorry I can’t remember his name) and other staff members were friendly and welcoming. We definitely have plans on returning as well as visiting the sister restaurant Mister Charles.
