                                                      The Charles is consistently good in every way: food, service, atmosphere, etc. it’s also nice to browse the connecting market for delectable small-craft products, quality wines, & cocktail fixin’s. Brunch menu is varied, with a no-rush vibe.

                                                      First our apps came out in a to-go bag. Dinner was cold. Server was very nice but extremely busy. Didn't seem like much organization during holidays is going on there.

                                                      ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Perfect Getaway Spot for Great Food and Vibes! My girlfriends and I visited The Charles in Waldorf yesterday for my friends birthday brunch, and we absolutely loved it! From the moment we walked in, the inviting atmosphere set the tone for a memorable experience. The décor is stylish and modern, yet warm and welcoming perfect for a quick birthday get away. The service was top notch, the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious. From appetizers to entrées, everything was prepared perfectly. The flavors were on point, and the presentation was impressive. The sparkling water, and mocktail selections were amazing, well-crafted and refreshing. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to unwind, laugh, and enjoy great food. If you’re looking for a place that combines excellent service, a lively atmosphere, and fantastic dishes, The Charles is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be coming back soon!

                                                      The food was just ok for brunch. I was a little disappointed in the cream of crab soup. The shrimp and grits was just ok. But based on previous visits where i thoroughly enjoyed the food, I’m not going to hold this one against them. Service is outstanding, can’t beat the environment. Previous visits for me had the food at 5 stars. Will of course try them at brunch again sometime

                                                      I attended a Wine Pairing Dinner. I loved the intimate setting. The wine selections were top tier. The food preparation & presentation was appetizing to the tongue & eye. The sommelier was knowledgeable and gave interesting back-stories to each wine. I appreciated the presence and participation of the restaurant owners. It was a great experience.

                                                      Came here for my birthday for my husband and was highly disappointed. My brussel sprouts were drenched in sauce even though I asked for light sauce. The crab cakes tasted like pickles and something else we cant even describe. The short rib were good and my first alcoholic beverage was good but my second drink we so bad I am sick and couldn’t even enjoy my evening. The upholstery seats needs to be cleaned and there’s gnats flying around everywhere. Folks at the bar seemed to be enjoying themselves so that’s where I will be I guess, if I even return. I had high hopes since theres not many options in the area…

                                                      I visited this place for the first time, and it’s truly a hidden gem. The food was outstanding, the drinks were fantastic, and the ambiance was exceptional. I’ll definitely be coming back!

                                                      Excellent food but even with a reservation nobody even greeted us or said “we’ll be right with you” or anything for the first half hour. Must have been an off night for the staff.

                                                      What The Charles created for us last evening was an experience. From the time we walked it we were made to feel exclusive. The gorgeous young lady at the host stand who checked us in really treated us like VIPs. Drew, the server, provided top notch service and attention. Management checked on us. One of the bar tenders checked on us. The other bar tender made spectacular craft cocktails and they also checked on us. The meal was devine. I highly recommend the Brussel spouts appetizer. I had the duck entre, which was so tasty I just wanted to keep ordering it. My hubs had the single crabcake meal and he really enjoyed it. The crowed was mature and interactive, the live music was stellar, the ambiance was perfect for celebrating a special occasion. I have nothing but good notes for The Charles
