                                                      I’ve been living in Charles County for almost 20 years. Just fast food & commercial dining everywhere! Feels good to stumble across a nice sit down restaurant with good food, nice vibe and ambience like The Charles! Hopefully these new commissioners see that it’s time to move in new a direction with dining and entertainment!

                                                      We have visited The Charles on several occasions and we are always pleased with the service and the food. The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed the oysters as well as the cream of crab. Only thing that I would suggest is that we preferred the sherry presentation that you did previously for the soup and the soup was a little thinner and more tart than we remember it being. Other than that, perfect service and food.

                                                      The food was amazing but it came out super cold. The drinks tasted amazing. It was really cute and modernize as far as the looks of the restaurant.

                                                      Dined there Valentines weekend, and was not impressed by the small menu. Literally like 12 items to include appetizers. Waiter couldn't recommend anything because he didn't like it. No bread or crackers for the soup. I really expected more of a tablecloth and real silverware restaurant. At best, mediocre bar food for drinking.

                                                      The service was very slow, the food was not very good. Very disappointed. Not worth the money. We went on a Saturday and expected lunch and they only had brunch. We have been told dinner is better.

                                                      The food was great, however the star of the night was dessert the cheese cake is outstanding. Definitely recommend grabbing a slice or two.

                                                      We didn’t get the specials or happy hour menu given to us. They defiantly were not prepared for the amount of tables they added for Valentine’s Day.

                                                      Claire did a nice job with her friendly service. Pork Chop was quite good. Only issue was the frozen Cheesecake desert. It was too frozen to eat at the restaurant.
