   It looks different from the first visit, it’s not as cozy. The food wasn’t bad but my mashed potatoes had a little too much pepper and the crab soup was just ok. The short ribs were delicious! The waitress was really nice and attentive.

   We've dined with The Charles before, but never inside. Our lunch experience in the dining room was fantastic! The atmosphere was clean, bright and cozy, our waiter was friendly and accommodating, the service was quick and the food was so yummy. We're coming back for the Ginger Chicken Lettuce Wraps!

   The pan seared trout, braised short ribs and T-bone steak were well prepared, presented and delicious. The Wednesday night jazz music is always great.

   It is always a great time! Managers check on you throughout your stay. Wait staff don’t have to be assigned to you to attend to your needs which I love! I bring everywhere here. It can be a happier hour vibe, family or celebratory occasion. Perfect for whatever your mood is. Often not the same menu as its farm to table, so it’s seasonal. They have great seasonal offerings. Nod to the chef’s inspirations!

   I’ve been living in Charles County for almost 20 years. Just fast food & commercial dining everywhere! Feels good to stumble across a nice sit down restaurant with good food, nice vibe and ambience like The Charles! Hopefully these new commissioners see that it’s time to move in new a direction with dining and entertainment!

   We have visited The Charles on several occasions and we are always pleased with the service and the food. The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed the oysters as well as the cream of crab. Only thing that I would suggest is that we preferred the sherry presentation that you did previously for the soup and the soup was a little thinner and more tart than we remember it being. Other than that, perfect service and food.

   Great experience. Brunch was really delicious and our waitress Rachel had excellent customer service. Will return soon!

    The food was amazing but it came out super cold. The drinks tasted amazing. It was really cute and modernize as far as the looks of the restaurant.
