Location is very appealing. We ordered chateaubriand steak expecting a tender, lean cut. It was somewhat fatty and was not tender. Kale beet salad was a bit soggy and underwhelming. Key lime pie was just blah with no tang. Overall overpriced and underwhelming. We will likely not go back.

Not a good experience at the Chateau. Service was pleasant and friendly but very slow. Almost an hour before we got our drinks. Apps were wrong. They were out of 3 of our dinner selections with an already small menu. When the food came out the fish was dried out and chicken rubbery. For the price the meal was extremely disappointing.

Overall we have a very good experience. Food was very good and the restaurant and bar area were quite nice. The only downside was there didn’t seem to be enough help for the bartender and dinner took a long time to arrive.

Typically, I make it a point NOT to leave negative reviews. And truthfully, I have left more positive reviews of this place in the past, but I think it’s important to be honest above all else. We dined here for the Valentines Day prefixe dinner, and in a word, our experience was depressingly underwhelming. We arrived at 8:00 and were seated at 8:15 in what appeared to be a meeting room converted into a dining room. First 🚩. After being seated in the furthest possible table from the kitchen, we noticed the wait staff arguing over who would take our table as they were kinda/sorta busy. Second 🚩 We waited nearly 30 minutes for any server to come to our table, then waited an additional 15 before we finally got water. It is now 9pm and we’ve not even placed a drink order. While we waited for any type of service, I noticed more than 1 table disputing their bill. Third 🚩 This is all to say, we should have known. We should have known this was not going to be a good experience. We should have known that the PREVIOUSLY Portioned, and PLATED, meal would take nearly 2.5 hours, only to be served cold and soulless. We should have known that our drinks would never once be refilled. We should have known to have just stood up and walked out after the first 45min “oversight”. This was no a romantic $300 well spent, and quite likely the last time we dine at this establishment. Hopefully normal dinner service is better.
