The Chew Chew is celebrating 28 years of great food & hospitality in the heart of Riverside, IL directed by original Chef/Owner Scott Zimmer. Located one-mile east of Brookfield Zoo, 5 miles northwest of Midway Airport and 10 miles west of Downtown Chicago. There is a Metra Train stop on our block for safe & easy access in/out of the City. We feature a multi-level dining room, vibrant full-bar & a cozy outdoor patio May-October (weather permitting). Happy Hour daily 4-6pm with beer, wine & cocktail specials. Always good. One of our favorite restaurants. Brussels sprouts and risotto were great but we have had better ribs. Love the brand of Prosecco! Chopped wedge continues to be a winner.

I don’t think there’s one thing I wouldn’t try on the menu. The creole chicken and lettuce wraps were our choice for tonight-we’ve had the burger, salmon, bowls, salads, soups & flatbread before among other things. It’s all really good. Desserts & drinks are a must too!

The food again was outstanding. Our server Jose, was very knowledgeable and very attentive. Second time we’ve been here in a month and it did not disappoint.

Tonight was another exemplary evening at The Chew Chew. I’ve not been here for a few months and tonight was a get together with two friends. If. Pound not have been better. Our server was friendly, professional, was there whenever we needed her and gave us time (did not rush us) on any courses. The manager is always top notch. He recognizes regulars, he is always cool and calm and welcoming. The food is excellent. Tonight was buzzing - they were busy but it did not get too loud. That is a big thing with most people I know. They avoid loud places because you cannot have a conversation This restaurant is perfect.

Everything was wonderful last night at the Chew Chew. New menu suits us! Especially love that you have trout back on the menu. It’s delicious with the crabmeat!

The Chew Chew has always given a good dining experience. We never have to wait a long time to be served. They seem to always have enough wait staff to accommodate their patrons. The food is good and the drinks excellent. It's our regular "go to" place.

It was very busy so the server was not at our table frequently. However, she was efficient and very pleasant. Food was good but not exceptional. thankfully we were seated ina corner so we escaped most of the noise.
