   Honestly, I usually keep my options to myself unless the place is amazing, but I recently had the opportunity to visit the Kodak and Sevierville Chop House restaurants within a few days of each other. I have done this a few times over the last three years and I must say “Pick the Sevierville location” if you can. The food and experience has always been better in Sevierville. Tonight my wife was brought a Filet that never should have been cooked much less delivered to our table. It had so much gristle in the middle she did not even cut into it. It did not even look appetizing. The waitress and manager both agreed and had a proper Filet delivered a few minutes later. However, as you all know I would much rather it been my meal that got screwed up. While I offered to share my prime rib with her while she waited it was not what she had ordered so we waited. We still had a nice time, but it definitely put a damper on the experience. The topper came when the check arrived. Not even an offer for a desert on the house was made! Full price for everything. I guess the manager thought it was okay to serve a crappy steak. I guess I will make the drive from my home in Kodak to Sevierville from now on.

   Our server Lilly was amazing. She was very friendly, attentive, and provided timely service. The overall experience was truly great all around.

   Was surprised when I got some grilled shrimp which wasn’t deveined and still had some shell on a couple. Always have a good experience so I was surprised.

   Seth did a great job tonight. He was very friendly and efficient. We both had salmon and the kitchen cooked it perfectly. Not over-done which happens sometimes. I have a gluten sensitivity and the hostess was actually aware of it from my online reservation and was ready with a GF menu. Many times I still have to ask for that even though I note it in the reservation. Great experience!

    Service was wonderful. Server and manager regularly visited table. Steaks were excellent as were salads, spinach, and dessert.
