    Had eaten here 2-3 times before and decided to bring my teens/young adults for my son's 17th birthday. Service was very poor on this occasion. Server did not seem well trained or personable. Nor did not have any sense of "timing" for when to put in appetizers, main course or checking back on the table. Although we had a 6pm reservation, the hostess attempted to seat us at the bar [when I have 3 kids where only one of them is old enough to drink] while the restaurant was mostly empty and window seats were available. Food was mostly good and well prepared. But for the price point and supposed reputation, the overall dining experience was underwhelming. And at one point, someone who appeared to be a manager checked in on how other diners were faring...however, she skipped checking in on our table.

    We had an amazing first dinning experience here! My chop salad and crab cake was the best. Amazing water views and great service. Looking forward to coming back!

    The service was amazing. The ambience was great. Had fish and chips that got served raw. It had to be sent back to be redone while my husband ate alone.

    Our first visit to Baltimore and we chose Choptank for dinner. We got there about 10 minutes ahead of our reservation and were seated immediately. Service was prompt and professional. The food was delicious. We had the crab and chili oysters which were great. The Cioppino was on point. The flat iron steak was cooked perfectly. Great food. Great experience.

    Great food in a great location. Service was on point, blue point oysters were fresh and our main courses were delicious.

    Xavier was great, and the food was good. My only feedback, which happens with delicate oysters, is that there was a lot of broken bits of shell…obviously this happens, just making a note. Ambiance was very nice, host was friendly and engaged in conversation in the way to the table. The server made good recommendations as well and the real highlights were the mussels and the wings (we only had apps on this visit)
