    The Club at Eaglebrooke golf course was designed by renowned architect Ron Garl and opened for play in 1996. Located in southern Polk County, Eaglebrooke is convenient to Orlando and the Tampa Bay area. The Club at Eaglebrooke is nestled among the oaks of southern Polk County - - a gem awaiting discovery.         Attended the holiday membership party last night… arrived at our reservation at 6:30. They had given away our table. The only thing left on the buffet was Mac n cheese and burnt sweet potatoes… and desserts. The waitress checked and said they were out of food and we could order from the kitchen. Oh, and she wouldn’t charge me for my iced tea! A manager came and said she would go check on something but never returned. We left and ordered pizza from Palace to eat at home. What a disappointment. We pay a dumb amount to visit the pool occasionally. Our money is better spent elsewhere.

        Thanksgiving dinner at Eaglebrooke has become a tradition for the two of us. Food is very good. You can get a traditional Thanksgiving meal, or branch out and get something different. Many choices. We asked for, and got, a window table and our view overlooking the lake was wonderrful. Seating and service were prompt and attentive. While pricy, the prices are reasonable for such an occasion, much less expensive than the The Terrace, for example.

        Your Thanksgiving food buffet dinner and deserts had no taste in it. Your prime rib meat was not good. Your turkey feast had no taste in it or your stuffing. Next time instead of serving a Thanksgiving Turkey slices. Serve a nice good Thanksgiving with drumsticks and wings with it.

        It was bingo night so noise was to be expected! Fun and festive! Service was a tad slow and we had to ask for items several times. We did find prices were high for food quality. $10 desserts which were tasty but obviously frozen and thawed. $16.50 for nachos and $6 to add chicken with toppings sparsely only on top --- not layered throughout etc. DEFINITELY room to improve!

        Great food, great value for money, little too loud for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner but we had a great time.

        It was a busy Valentine’s Day and the place was packed. Considering that, the service was acceptable. My wife had the filet and I had salmon. Both were excellent.

        We waited almost an hour for our food after ordering. Then, it was cold. I had to ask the waiter to put it in the microwave. We were sat in the side behind the waiter area. It was so bright I had to ask the lights to be dimmed.

        Server was terrible, she was getting our order mixed up with the table next to us. My husband had to go to the bar to get our drinks because she hardly came back to our table.
