Located on the shores of Nagawicka Lake in the heart of Lake Country, The Commodore – A Bartolotta Restaurant inhabits the historic property that first opened in 1902 as the Pleasant View Hotel and Resort and was most recently the Seven Seas for nearly four decades. Operated by The Bartolotta Restaurants, the premier restaurant and catering organization in the Greater Milwaukee region, The Commodore – A Bartolotta Restaurant is named for the leader of classic yacht clubs and embraces the historical significance of the past with modern touches of elegance. The unique, expansive property has been thoughtfully reimagined to include a remarkable suite of dining and event experiences, including a restaurant, intimate private dining rooms, and expansive outdoor space for groups and gatherings.

Reservations are recommended, and we have a 15-minute grace period, so please call us if you are running late.

    My wife and I had the Tomahawk steak which was the best steak we have ever had. At $150 per person with dessert and a starter dish each, the steak should be and it was. I would come back when the regular menu was utilized rather than a limited “Valentine’s Day menu.” The service was fantastic and there was great attention to detail. There was nautical theme with a historical context throughout the property.

    The Valentine’s menu offered something for everyone. Our starters, main course, and desserts were delicious and a treat for the eyes. Service was impeccable. Our team of Hayden, Adam, and Jack ensured that we had a outstanding experience. They were attentive and professional. Overall, our dining experience was exceptional.

    First time at The Commodore! Undoubtedly everything was amazing. Our Valentine’s dinner was delicious, and the service from Brandon was equally wonderful (attentive without being intrusive 😊) We hope to be back again soon!

    Excellent food and service but way too expensive. Very over priced. Will not go back again for that reason

    Food was really good except for the lobster tail which was slightly underdone and not seasoned at all. We had the Wellington for two and it was incredible. Service was really good but not up to Bartolotta standards. For the prices you pay there you’d expect them to at least fill your wine and water glasses. Ambiance was the best part, although you leave there feeling like you paid extra for their expensive renovations. Will not be back until their prices align with the market in this area.

    This was a pleasant dining experience. It was nice to have a place to go to that people were dressed up. The food was excellent. The service was great also.

    Our experience was wonderful. The food was superb , service was great. The only problem was the price. After drinks , 2 glasses of wine a 2 old fashions and tip our bill was about $350. I love my wife and to take her to a very nice venue on Valentines day I can give it a pass even though it was snowing. She is worth it but I don’t think I will make it a habit to dine there. Too expensive in my opinion.

    I was unaware that a special Valentine’s Day menu was the choice for the evening. I would have preferred to order off of the menu. This was the only disappointment. Our food was good. But hoping to return another time to try other options.

    Well Glad that’s over Mediocre food /cold Very limited menu Slow service Bad drinks $347 Overall a terrible night Have been going to your establishments since day 1 but they continue in the last few years to go down in almost every aspect
