Reimagined by acclaimed interior designer John Heah, The Connaught Grill beautifully balances its distinguished heritage with fresh culinary creativity. Follow the rosewood-clad corridor into the heart of the hotel to discover the Grill’s cocooning interior, where everything from the bespoke woodwork by Mira Nakashima to the menus of Jean-Georges Vongerichten are an homage to craft.

In the theatre of the open kitchen, the finest British produce takes centre stage. Here, seasonal flavours are prepared with flame and flair over the wood-burning restaurant grill. Courses traverse sea and shore, with a Scottish scallop the perfect prelude to an organic Barnsley lamb chop sourced in Dorset. A flavoursome lunch in Mayfair calls for just-shucked oysters, followed by a vibrant wood-roasted heirloom beetroot. Meanwhile, evenings see the finest selection of large Aberdeen Angus sharing steaks, with a pastry-enrobed sea bass a signature showstopper for two.

Each wine has been hand-selected from our esteemed cellar and exclusively features bottles crafted by father-and-child winemaker duos — a true celebration of legacy, craftsmanship, and shared passion. As a fitting centrepiece to this special day, guests will also have the option to enjoy our show-stopping Beef Wellington alongside the Sunday roast — a luxurious addition to mark the occasion in style. The Father's Day menu is available from 9th - 15th June. Beef Wellington will be available on the Sunday only.

Again, such an amazing experience - service spot on and the starters, main and dessert faultless. A go-to if you want quality all the way through.

Service was great, very attentive. Nice ambiance. I expected more from the food, beef could be better. Sunday roast was not available at dinner and the website picture showing a beef en croute was not what they offered anymore anyway. This was misleading. Comfortable meal in a nice hotel and environemnt.

What a cracking evening!! Was trying to cheer a good friend up and we did the special set game menu. The food was impeccable and the service was attentive without being intrusive, they really looked after us well. It wasn’t cheap, but you get what you pay for and the sommelier helped us find a suitable wine to accompany our meal. Was a really lovely 4 hrs and I look forward to being able to go back.

Food was on par with any decent restaurant. Certainly not worth the eye watering prices. Service was attentive , if a bit too formal. Dining room is supposed to be atmospheric where you see the kitchen but I would rather have not seen the chef , who had a bad cold, and swore a few times.

They expected us and they knew we were on the FT menu. We loved our night at the Connaught. The food and service was outstanding. The crepe suzettes were a table-side performance and delicious!
