The Cooperage is serving up the ultimate upscale American Comfort Food in the heart of Walnut Creek. The extensive menu features favorites such as a smoked Prime Rib French dip, our signature burger, and the Grilled Fish Tacos. The Cooperage also offers a variety of lighter, vegetarian options, including a selection of salad entreés made with local and organically grown ingredients.

The Cooperage is a neighborhood hangout, great for a date night or dinner with the family. Featuring a bar-casual atmosphere including flat screen TV's, a large selection of beer and wine on tap, and an award winning cocktail list.

                                                                                  The short ribs and fried chicken were great comfort foods. The service was a little slow especially when they forgot the sauce of the fried chicken. All in all it’s a good restaurant albeit quite loud with a good lively bar area.

                                                                                  First off there was a sewer smell when we entered the restaurant which isn’t very appetizing. Drinks were delicious so I hate to leave a poor review when the cocktails were above average! But the food was terrible. Fish tacos were fishy tasting so it was definitely old fish. The salads come out underdressed and underwhelming. It’s a bummer to have such a bad meal when there are so many other great food options around.

                                                                                  First time dining here and it was surprisingly pleasant. Overall, the food was good and majority of the food was good. The Brussels sprouts and spinach dip were the only two items I wasn’t impressed with. I definitely won’t be ordering those two items again but the other foods we ordered were great. Service was attentive and fast.

                                                                                  All 3 of our entrees were very good! Service was very good too. It would be nice if they did something to improve the acoustics. Pretty loud, but still a great experience! We would definitely go back!
