The Copper Crow is a purveyor of fine food & craft cocktails located in the historic Andrew Kirk & Son’s Brewery building at 904 Broadway in Albany, New York’s North end warehouse district. The Copper Crow’s food menu features an eclectic collection of American fusion dishes that incorporate international influences, ingredients & cooking methods from various regions around the world. Wherever possible we rely on ingredients that are sustainably & locally sourced. Tuesday through Friday the bar opens at 4pm and the kitchen opens at 5pm and closes at 10pm. On Saturday and Sunday the bar and kitchen open at noon. Saturday night the kitchen closes at 10pm and Sunday night the kitchen closes at 9pm.

                                                                                    The Newport chowder was good, tender but firm seafood but not particularly interesting. The cauliflower plate was good. The Brussels sprouts plate was excellent. The crab stuffed haddock main dish tasted excellent, seemingly from the quality of the haddock itself.

                                                                                    Our food was excellent except for the cheese cake . The strawberry cheese cake had a very chemical taste to it , I’m assuming it was made with imitation strawberry flavoring. If you are going to have strawberry cheesecake on your menu it should be made with out chemicals.

                                                                                    We enjoyed most of our food. We ordered some Korean bbq sauce to put on our Brussels and it fixed them perfectly! Service was a bit slow even though there was ample staff…think our server was new because she had to ‘go ask’ about anything we inquired about. It was noisy but there was a performer so no complaints bc we knew that going in. We enjoyed our girl time and the host was a nice touch with his personality.

                                                                                    Decided to go here rather than other restaurants due to the email received of $10 cocktail. The waitress said “it’s at bar only” and would not honor even the email didn’t mention “bar only” I would’ve spend more on drinks and food if they are flexible on small issues like that only $2 anyways. I just didn’t enjoy the dinner after that. I unsubscribed from their email list and I wouldn’t return.

                                                                                    I was really excited to try this, but I left lack luster. Our server was great, and she handled herself well. The food was decent. The things that bothered me the most was it took 25 minutes to get our first round of drinks. We actually had our appetizer served and eaten before our drinks were ready. The server comped my second drink, as it again took close to 15 + minutes. The other thing that I did not appreciate was the food runners lack of interaction. Each plate that was brought over was just placed, without asking who had what or asking if we needed anything. While I know it's not thier job to wait on us, our server was very busy and little accommodations would have been appreciated. All in all, it was ok, but was not the overall experience in was hoping for.
