   This is a lovely hidden gem! Been a regular for the last 30odd years every time we visit London. We love it! Service from staff is always the best and most helpful. We were running a little late and a staff member (male dark hair lovely) called to check we were on our way. Loved that he did this and didn’t just move on to next paying customer.    It’s always a pleasure to return to the C&B. Good food and friendly, professional service. Outstanding wine list. Always a pleasure to be able to trust their recommendations and experience, when experimenting with new wines or struggling to pair wines with different food selections. Being able to purchase bottles to take home is a bonus too good to miss! Thank you C&B

   Good wine choices, Decent food. Friendly service. Cool, intimate vibe. Can just get a bit noisy. But I really like this place.

   A hudden gem. I hadn't visited for some time and gD forgotten how enjoyable it is. An excellent selection of wines, with great advice available to help make a choice, a good menu and excellent food.

   We love this place. We have been coming here for over 25 years every time we are in town. We lived in the London area twice and it was a regular haunt.

   It's a restaurant I would go to fairly regularly before lockdown. It was great to be back same great food and wine. Friendly and welcoming staff and just such an unexpected gem as you descend the spiral staircase. Highly recommend - I will to be waiting so long to return!

   Do yourself a favour and order the ham and cheese pie,excellent.we were alerted to this little gem by friends and would highly recommend.great wine list and service.

   Been coming here regularly since 1998. Always good. Always have the ham and cheese pie. Great wine list. This place never changes and that’s the way we like it.
