   Lovely venue, 2nd visit here. The atmosphere is lively but not noisy, feels intimate and cosy. Great food and good selection of drinks

   We booked a table before seeing a show near by. The service was friendly and efficient. We had cheese and wine but the meals being served around us looked very tempting. A real hidden gem

   Such a great central venue and a charming building. Particular shout out to two of the gentleman waiting staff who are lovely. Great place for drinks.

   This is a lovely hidden gem! Been a regular for the last 30odd years every time we visit London. We love it! Service from staff is always the best and most helpful. We were running a little late and a staff member (male dark hair lovely) called to check we were on our way. Loved that he did this and didn’t just move on to next paying customer.    It’s always a pleasure to return to the C&B. Good food and friendly, professional service. Outstanding wine list. Always a pleasure to be able to trust their recommendations and experience, when experimenting with new wines or struggling to pair wines with different food selections.     Good wine choices, Decent food. Friendly service. Cool, intimate vibe. Can just get a bit noisy. But I really like this place.
