The Pub The Cricketers is a country pub and dining rooms with a large beer garden and outdoor patio dining in the summer. The pub is a beautifully refurbished and extended early 19th century public house. Once known to the locals as “The Old Orchard House”, we really are a hidden gem on Cricketers Lane in Warfield, just a short drive from Ascot Racecourse, Legoland and Bracknell. We are family friendly and also happy to welcome dogs into our bar and garden areas as we always have a jar of dog treats in the porch. Whether you want to warm yourself in the sun outside in the summer with a glass of Pimms or enjoy a perfect pint of cask conditioned real ale in front of a real log fire in the winter, the Cricketers is the perfect place for a drink. If you are looking for a great venue for a family get together, a working lunch, special occasion or a light snack we’d love you to join us.

Pleasant surroundings and ambience. Big group of sweary rugby types just inside the door slightly off putting but further in its a pleasant family pub. Decent selection and the roast beef was spot on and we didn’t have to wait too long. Less than £90 for family of four including tip, very good value these days.

The staff were all incredibly friendly but I feel a gratuity of 12and a half is too high . The wines were quite expensive and the food very mediocre. Such a shame as it’s a lovely setting .

Fantastic. Delicious food, great service from all the staff, beautiful country pub. Great quiz if you’re there on a Wednesday and fab live music nights. Highly recommend.

A function on the main pub floor meant we were sat next to the band, no contact before to say this was the case. It’s easy to send a email or a text! Pudding served stone cold and it was only a microwave job! Custard all congealed and marmalade straight out of a jar and chucked on top. Charged 12.5% service charge rather than an apology for what we had received. Did not meet expectation

Always have a great meal here. This time I had the double cheeseburger which was excellent; well cooked and moist using quality ground beef. However, the ‘piece de resistance’ was the rhubarb/custard ice cream sundae for dessert. It was A-mazing, and I told them so. Worth going there for this alone.

We arrived to be turned away as they had taken a walk in and given them the table that we had booked. We will never return.

Great welcome and service throughout. Lovely little place and we will definitely return. The prawn and monk fish curry is probably the best curry I have ever had!!

We have eaten here several times before and the food is always excellent. The staff are great, very friendly. The dining room is usually quieter than the pub which suits us. The service charge is included in the bill, which I like but perhaps others might not. Overall, I highly recommend the Cricketers.
