Located in the historic town of Kenilworth in the heart of Warwickshire, The Cross is an award-winning pub that combines Michelin-starred food with a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.

Under the guidance of chef-director Adam Bennett, we have held a Michelin star for over nine years and are proud to boast three AA Rosettes. We received a Good Food Award Gold Seal in 2021.

The Cross is housed in a Grade II listed 19th-century inn and has been sympathetically restored to retain its heritage alongside contemporary touches that make it a fabulous place to enjoy great food, a casual atmosphere and informal but attentive service.

Our main dining room is a former school room that leads to a cosy and welcoming bar - previously a butcher's shop.

Another dining room overlooks the pass, where guests can glimpse the team of chefs busily at work.

We have a green and spacious pub garden, perfect for aperitifs, cocktails and post-dinner drinks.

    Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional environment supporting an excellent tasting menu. Unusual to find all plates were excellent! Easy parking and a very enjoyable and relaxed evening. Easy parking. I would recommend you give it a try.

    A gorgeous date night for two vegans! The food tasted absolutely incredible, the staff were an utter delight and the whole atmosphere was gorgeous. We will definitely be back for more!

    Slow service, unknowledgeable staff regarding what champagnes were available. Tepid food & very small portions. Continually having to ask for wine & water to be topped up. Not the smooth glide experience you’d expect from a “Michelin’ restaurant . Not what it used to be.

    All the staff are well trained and attentive. Our lady sommelier was fantastic and an asset to the restaurant. She explained the various choices made on the wine flight to accompany the tasting menu with great knowledge, genuine interest, not a trace of pretentiousness and good humour. It really added to our enjoyment of the meal.
