Please note we don't reserve outside tables.

    The roasts are always good but the starters aren’t very appealing. Perhaps it’s January blues but the staff don’t seem particularly happy !

    DJ pumping out tunes in the same space as we were eating completely ruined the meal, I know it’s New Years Eve but there was no need for it early evening - should have had the DJ from 10 so those eating could finish their meals first

    I visited this pub in the summer and ate in the garden it was lovely. Today we we’re inside. I was a little frustrated that there wasn’t a high chair at the table as requested in the booking but it was brought over as soon as we asked. The bar staff were very friendly. It did start to get very hot and noisy where we were and our baby was getting very restless and we were quite uncomfortable we were told none of the windows opened but we did notice that the radiator was on full blast and for a mild day probably could have been turned off. The food didn’t take long to arrive, the pork was tasty and the Yorkshire pudding was lovely but the vegetables and potatoes were very undercooked. The sticky toffee pudding was lovely! I noticed the service charge was very high for a pub lunch. Next time I’ll ask to be seated at the back of the pub where there’s more of a breeze.

    We went to The Crown for lunch and really enjoyed it. It’s a beautifully refurbished pub with a very nice atmosphere. Lunch and a drink for £13.50 and quality of food was good.

    A really nice lunch menu and the dogs were kept quiet with the offer of treats on the side. Great service and will be back soon.

    Really enjoyed celebrating my birthday here with friends. The staff were extremely accommodating and made sure all went smoothly.

    Late Sunday lunch food was great though meat was could have been hotter. Service as always was great from the team !

    It was lovely food and the new Managers Summer & Mel are very welcoming - staff very friendly - clean and defo will return!! Dog friendly, amazing garden lots of room - 10/10 can't fault anything! Highly recommend xxxxx
