The Derby is more than a restaurant. Established in 1922, it has been family owned and operated since 1951. It is a grand museum showcasing some of horse racing’s greatest moments. Diners are invited to take a break from the rush of modern life and travel back to the time of George Woolf, Seabiscuit, and relive the excitement of “The Race of the Century”. We excel in offering the best meat and fresh seafood hand selected by our longtime executive chef that would delight even the most discriminating of taste. Some of the menu highlights include the Bacon Wrapped Filet, Delmonico New York, Prime Rib and Shrimp Scampi. We offer a wide selection of wines by the bottle and by the glass. Relax and enjoy a delicious meal in one of our iconic red leather booths, take in a beautiful evening on our terrace, or watch a sporting event in our bar and lounge.     We had a wonderful time! Our server was very patient and attentive. The food, derby delight, clam chowder, salads, rosemary chicken, brussel sprouts, crème brûlée, and whiskey pudding were perfect as always! We tried the beef tartare for the first time and have to say it wasn’t very good. Way too many capers and Worcestershire sauce. Thank you again to Derby! Our favorite dinner night out spot!

    Very nice restaurant with great location in Arcadia. Great foods and attentive service even they are busy on Tuesday night . Every staffs are with a welcome and very pleasant smile . Great managements that is why it is a 103 years old restaurant . Highly recommended. We had such a good time over there. We will be back soon !

    The Derby has been around for 103 years. Their steaks are top quality as well as their service. You get what you pay for very high-end quality Steakhouse. Have strong ties to the Santa Anita race track. If you're going to fully enjoy your experience, expect $100 per person.
