THE DINING ROOM AT SUN MOUNTAIN LODGE: Breakfast is currently served in the Wolf Creek Bar and Grill on all weekdays. If you cannot find a convenient time, please call our host at 509-996-4707 so we can assist you. Also, visit our website and learn about our extraordinary Wine Dinners and group events.

FAMILY FRIENDLY LOUNGE: Our Wolf Creek Bar and Grill opens at noon daily. The Grill is the place to be if you’re looking for great food and a full bar from our Lunch/All-Day dining menu served in a casual atmosphere. The Bar and Grill is family-friendly and offers stunning views. Seating is first come/first served.

We are approximately 6 miles west of Winthrop, WA. Offering breathtaking views overlooking the Methow Valley and the Cascade Mountains.

Sun Mountain Lodge offers many outdoor recreation adventures, including horseback riding, cross-country skiing, & more. Book a treatment in our spa, or stay the night in one of our rooms. We also offer cabins along the Patterson Lakefront.

Hamburger and fries were delicious as was a pear, apple starter and the price was reasonable.

It would have been really good, but the service to our table was very poor. Server seemed to be going through the motions and took forever to get me my drink, after the salad was served.

While we were incredibly grateful for the Thanksgiving dinner and all the staff that worked on Thanksgiving day, the dinner just missed the mark for us. What was especially disappointing was the dessert buffet. Instead of having a variety of what seemed like store bought desserts, I just wish they had a couple flavors of freshly made fall pies. Also, despite having a booking in the dining room for the Thanksgiving dinner, we were seated in the mostly empty restaurant/bar. We’ve both stayed and dined at the Sun Mountain lodge on multiple occasions, but this Thanksgiving dinner unfortunately has been our least favorite.

Thanksgiving dinner was overpriced for the dried out turkey we received. Sauces overpowered meat. Wine list not up to date. Service slow. Disappointed as meals during prior visits have always been fine. Will choose other dining options while staying at SunMountain.

Order the crab cakes and you won't go wrong. Make a reservations so you get a table by the windows. Great ambience.

We tried the fish and the steak - both expertly cooked. The al dente vegetables were great too! Add to that the dry Riesling, the Sun Mountain red blend, and two of the desserts and we ended up with an excellent dinner! The view from the restaurant is pretty amazing!

**5-Star Review for Sun Mountain Lodge Restaurant** Absolutely amazing! We didn’t expect to have such a remarkable dining experience at Sun Mountain Lodge, and we can’t wait to return. The ambiance at the bar is truly the best in Washington—perfectly cozy and inviting. Our dinner was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish was organic and expertly prepared, showcasing the freshest ingredients. The Spice Roasted Autumn Fruit & Raita was a delightful surprise, bursting with flavor and perfectly balanced. The Spinach Salad, with its butternut squash, goat cheese, and that same incredible raita, was a refreshing start to our meal. For the main course, we indulged in the Roasted Organic Heritage Half Chicken, which was cooked to perfection. The combination of melted leeks, wild mushrooms, roasted garlic, charred lemon, and polenta created a symphony of flavors that left us craving more. If you can, dine before sunset and request a window seat in advance. The views are breathtaking and enhance the entire experience. Also, take your time getting there—explore the charming little towns and merchants along the way. Our favorite stop was the Methow General Store, where we found the best local goods the valley has to offer. Overall, Sun Mountain Lodge Restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way. We can’t recommend it highly enough and are already looking forward to our next visit!
