The Diplomat Steakhouse is owned and operated by John, Dimitrios & Peter Makris. The Diplomat has received 8 Wine Spectator Awards & has been ranked one of the top 100 Restaurants in Canada.

We have only been there to celebrate special occasions, but each time has resulted in a meal and experience to remember. The quiet ambience only adds to the satisfaction of the moment.

We had a lovely outing, we took our children who are 11 & 13 and they really liked the table side Caesar salad experience and we all enjoyed the food. Our server was exceptional and went above and beyond to ask the kitchen if they would make a Alfredo sauce special for our youngest. This made her feel very important. As always we love coming to the Diplomat and will be back.

The food was bland. No flavor at all on my steak or my husbands lamp. My lemon potatoes were dry and flavourless. The French onion soup has no onion and a tiny bit of cheese. It was a very expensive meal that I will never repeat or recommend. Quote frankly the food was flavourless and poorly prepared. I feel completely disappointed

Food was great, sitting by the fire. Lighting was good. Was a little loud sitting by the bar. Food was on par with that of Golf’s, very delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection. Quite pricey ($230 for 2 people) but a nice little treat every few years lol

This is THE steakhouse to go to. Restaurant was full but noise level was low. Must be the construction of the building and materials used. My fave restaurant in Regina. The flavours are so good. I like everything they prepare.
