   On arrival we made our way to the bar , it was clear they were all very busy . Ordered drinks and asked where our table was , we found the table our self and waited for staff to attend to us , after 25 minutes we asked for the menus . We had a long wait for the food to arrive, it was lovely , but unfortunately the service was very poor which put me off . The waitress apologised and said she would remove the drinks from the bill for our long wait , but didn’t .

   First time for us. Excellent meal and lovely staff. The pint of Beaver Town was top drawer too

   Lovely food. Was disappointed that we were unable to take a meal out for my elderly mother who is unable to get out. We have done this plenty of times before but were told the kitchen was busy. Had to go elsewhere for a single meal.

   A fantastic warm welcome from the staff and the roaring fire. Food was superb and good portion sizes .
