The Duke has been a core part of Hampstead life since 1721 and boasts a rich history and heritage.Now, after a brief period of restoration, the pub has reopened under the management of Hampstead-born brothers Ben and Ed and their childhood friend Adam. The boys have given the beloved local pub a new lease of life, with a brilliant bar offering, relaxed, vibrant spaces and a food menu that shows off pub grub at its best.
The pub is also home to the Hampstead Jazz Club, one of north London’s best new music venues

Enjoyed coming here, had a lovely roast, staff were also polite and friendly.

It was overall good. Cocktails amazing and staff really nice and attentive Shame that my special was not too great as unfortunately the fish was not good at all ( it was the lemon sole) , felt like it was off and I had to ask for a replacement. Staff was very nice about it though and asked me if I wanted a different dish which I had . My friend had the mussels and I had the mussels too in the end and it was absolutely great Not sure what happened with that lemon sole and why it was not good but overall we really enjoyed afterwords .

The Duke of Hamilton is such a lovely pub with a very pleasant ambience, both inside and outside. The staff are always so pleasant.

Lovely pub, staff was incredibly kind and attentive and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Sunday roast wav very good, i’d definitely come back.
