We start with free range, all-natural chicken. It’s brined, dredged, then dropped into custom-built fryers. It's got a little kick and is served with our house-made hot honey. But we don't stop there - Southern-style sides grace our menu, craft beer flows through our taps, and Blues music pumps through our speakers. At The Eagle, it's all about flying right, eating bird, and curing the Blues.

We had a 6:15 reservation and we ordered within 10 minutes of sitting down but didn’t receive food until an hour and a half later since we had 8 pm plans we had to ask for the bill and box as soon as we received the food and it took over 20 to get our card and receipt back, the server was very sweet but the service was extremely slow with everything

The fried chicken was good. The pork burnt ends were literally just burnt meat. The spicy chicken dip was not hot, which made the cheese tough. The shrimp and grits were just ok, I've had better. The homemade biscuits had way too much salt. We couldn't even eat them. The sweet tea was barely tea and not that sweet.

Great food as always. Stop by on your way to the Lions, Pistons, Wing and Tigers. Black every lemonade, chicken sandwich and hush puppies for the win. Service was great too. Friendly staff.

First time we've been here, our son suggested as he has been here before. We're quite pleased with the selection, value, service, and food quality. We will definitely return as we've added this restaurant to our list of favorites in Detroit.

The service by our waitress was great but the food was mostly horrible. The grilled chicken sandwich was good but everything else was blah. The Mac and cheese was just a velveeta -like substance put atop of noodles, it wasn’t even mixed together. Unfortunately my entire party got sick from the food.

Excellent southern comfort food. Had the chicken, Mac-N-cheese and cornbread. Chicken was very moist. The hot honey was really good as well. Will visit again.

Our waitress Blue was amazing. Shrimp and grits were so good and kale salad. The chicken dip was yummy too. We will be back.

Happy Hour blackberry lemonade, hush puppies and fried chicken sandwich. Winter salad off the main menu was ok - too much salad dressing.
