We had a reservation for 6 pm. Because of horrible traffic (Pen's game with Fleury's last game in Pittsburgh), I called to say we would be 10 minutes late. I was told that they would hold our table. When we arrived, had to stand in a line and finally made our way to beginning saying we had reservations. Don't know if the restaurant was over-booked, but there were people waiting everywhere. Saw a friend who had a 6:15 reservation and she ended up leaving. We all had tickets for the 7:30 show at the Benedum. Finally got a table and waited a long time for the waitress. Gave her our full order and asked for the check when she delivered the food. The famous grilled cheese sandwich I've had many times, did not have the sliced apples, nor the apricot jam and my friend got the wrong salad. Because of our time frame and the long wait overall, we just let the mistakes go by.

Trae was very attentive . Food was just OK. Salads were good. Some Of the hot food was a little cold coming out

Food was fantastic, as usual! Grata vibe before the Steelers game. Our server was “meh” and the tables nearby us that had him were visibly disappointed too.

Our reservation was at 5:15. We weren’t seated until 5:45 and our food didn’t get to us until 6:50. Our show at the Benedum was at 7. We scarfed down a few bites as fast as we could and had to leave. This is the 2nd time it has been a long wait despite having a reservation. Food is very good, but the service has often been terrible.

The food, our waiter and the ambience was great. The food took FOREVER to come out though - over an hour and a half for simple orders (salads, kids Mac and cheese and a chicken sandwich). We were going to a show at the benedum and we had to eat within 5 minutes because it took so long so we didn’t get to enjoy it.

Very good fried chicken, salads and spoonbread but expect to spend 1 1/2 hours. Kitchen can get backed up before busy show nights.

Food was decent. Not much on the menu. Seems they are more interested in selling drinks. Service was good but slow. I have had better mixed drinks,stick to beer. They are a bit pricey too..

The fried chicken was terrific. Service was inferior and the side came out cold. It is a shame, because it's one of the best places to eat downtown.
